The story begins in 1999, when the DotCom boom was beginning and a lonely London Web Development firm, dreamsolve, launched from a bedroom in Feltham. A brief dalliance into the online world, before closing in 2001.

In 2002, Chikara Media was born in Melbourne, Australia (not Derbyshire) continuing with web development services across Australia and the UK.

From inside, grew two online services redcarpet (DVD Rentals by Post) and adultpages (Online Advertising Directory), both subsequently rapidly growing and then sold to investors.

Chikara Media has continued since the original concept of dreamsolve and to this day carries on developing websites, providing marketing support and SEO services to small businesses, non-profits and IT partners across the UK and Australia.
